#17 ā Wasted at The Photographer’s Mess
I’ve deliberately not published any external photographs of this property, so not to give any clues as to where it is. This isn’t because I’m an arse and don’t want to share, but you will see from the photos I have taken that there are a lot of personal possessions still present, Many that I didn’t even take photos of.
I’m not sure how long it has been since this place was lived in. and can only guess going by letters, and dates on food that it is only probably a couple of years max.
These photographs can only be seen here, I have not uploaded them to any urbex forums.
The flowers on these photographs are artificial, I really haven’t just gone into somebody’s random house and taken photographs.
There are many items dotted around with religious meanings and such, like this statue below.
I don’t think this statue represents any religious following, unless Gollum is a God
The owner is this property was very keen on photography, There are various clues around that suggest this, such as Photoshop magazines, tripods, and even a couple of old cameras.
Not sure I’m into this guys music taste.
An old trinket box, and magnifying glass
Also a keen stamp collector I beleive.
One of my favourite things to find in this house was this old Matchbox 1909 Opel Coupe.
Something rather strange I found in the kitchen.
Some old spoons, and a recipe.

A few books from the vast amount found in the bedrooms
An old mask and picture frame
The owner was very keen on Chinese literature
More stamps found
The detail on this solid wood wardrobe is great, You can’t buy this in Ikea
I cannot believe so much stuff was left behind in this house, Surely somebody somewhere must take these possessions back?
The messy kitchen, The fridge was absolutely disgusting, and I couldn’t keep it open long enough through the stench to take a photo.
The lounge was like a jumble sale. Notice the TV !!!
Remember these before DSLR?
A letter I found, and didn’t read.
That is it, there was so much stuff in this place that it felt uncomfortable rooting about, The place obviously had not been lived in but you still had that sense of thinking that someone could walk in any second.
I hope you all like my photographs. Let me know what you think by commenting.
Cheers

Cracking Pictures, I paid this place a visit a few months ago but not put the photos out there, I heard the owner was still about and the police had got involved! It felt very uncomfortable inside.

Nice Pics, after 20 years in catering, I can confirm the recipe is for Bolognese (or very similar)
